I have been part of the Madison/Morgan/Limestone communities since moving from the Shoals area in 1996. After a year of apartment living, I realized that a mortgage payment was about the same price as my rent, but I didn’t get to keep what I was paying for! So I got a loan and bought a house. I can still remember the feeling when I became a first-time homeowner, and I saw that same pride in the face of the first-time homebuyer to whom I sold that house. The look on her face was that of absolute delight when I handed her her very first set of housekeys. That’s a feeling and a moment that is life-changing. My wife, Stacey, and I understand how special it is, and if we can be a small part of making people feel the same joy we have felt when receiving or handing away those housekeys, then I will absolutely do my best to make that a reality. Having over 20 years of experience in industrial design and facilities management, combined with Stacey’s experience with interior design and color mastery, I feel we bring a unique perspective to finding not just a house, but a home.

Outside of real estate, I worked for 17 years as an exhibit designer for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. At the same time, I also worked as a private soccer trainer in Madison after serving as the recreational director for Valley Futbol Club. I am currently an exhibit designer and the facilities manager at the Cook Museum of Natural Science in downtown Decatur. I spend what little free time I have putting kids through college, watching football and Netflix (and occasionally kayaking) with Stacey, and enjoying our Hartselle property until we can finally retire on the water somewhere.
